Free Reddit account warm-up planner

Is your Reddit account ready to post, or will its first product mention get auto-removed? Enter your age, karma and history for a readiness check and a concrete warm-up plan.

Warm up before you post in your category

Needs warmup

Roughly 7 days of real participation should get you there.

Account is only 7 days old — many subs require 10–30+ days.
5 comment karma — most subs want 10–50+; a brand-new account that mentions a product is the textbook spam signal.
Only 3 comments — build real history in communities you actually care about first.
Never buy aged accounts or farm karma — that gets accounts shadowbanned and breaks Reddit's rules.

Your plan

Spend the next ~7 days genuinely participating in 2–3 subreddits you actually care about (unrelated to your product).
Aim for a few thoughtful comments a day that earn a couple of upvotes — you're building real history, not gaming karma.
Fill out your profile so it isn't blank.
Only after that, start contributing in your category — disclose you're the founder, help first, no links in the first comment.

The full method: warming up a new Reddit account.

Next step

A warm account is wasted on the wrong threads.

ThreadCite points it at the threads that rank for your keywords — where one good comment keeps earning traffic.
